EMERGENCE OF A FULL-SPECTRUM NATIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER

March 2005 


On this date, ATF Oncidium announced its evolution to ATF Canada Corp., beginning its growth into the trusted national assessment and disability management provider it is today!


For the first time in Canada, a company had emerged which could provide and opportunity for claims handlers, case workers, rehab specialists and clinicians, legal representatives and employers an outstanding opportunity to have a provider conveniently (and almost literally) at their fingertips; a provider who could service all areas of claims and case management; from acute injury, to chronic and complicated claims!


Since our inception in 1997, ATF Canada Corp. has grown to include offices, satellite locations, and assessment facilities in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland.


While adding facilities and expertise right across Canada, we have also expanded our services in three core disciplines including:

>Expanded Disability Management Services - Through a multi-disciplinary approach, we provide leadership and expertise to assist insurers in achieving measurable benefits for all key stakeholders. We design our programs to expedite the disability management process and reduce time-loss due to injuries or illness. Our focus is on the enhancement of function over time, both physically and cognitively.

>Enhanced Independent Medical Specialist Assessment Services - Our process benchmarks the worker’s general level of function, using our nation-wide, standardized protocols, detailed reporting procedures and our experienced people. With functional testing locations and a large network of specialists across Canada , we are able to meet the assessment needs of national clients in a timely and effective manner. We are also able to leverage our assessment services to help insurers identify claimants who could benefit from our multi-disciplinary approach to rehabilitation.

>Vocational Rehabilitation Services - Understanding the vocational implications of an injury or illness upon employment status and earning capacity allows us to provide insurers with viable alternatives for return to work for their claimants. We utilize a systematic process of identifying an individual's work abilities/traits and matching them against the best available jobs suitable to that individual (given their personal and vocational characteristics). We provide him/her with the necessary tools, skills and resources to prepare for and develop a practical Employment Readiness or Job Search Strategy.


Through our team and affiliated service providers, we are able to offer insurers, claims handlers, legal reps and employers, and clinicians, a single jumping off point for acquiring all necessary claims and case management services to assist with file and claim progression!
